The Timescoop is a taranium-powered device capable of locking on to an individual's timestream and extracting them from it, placing them in a new spacetime. In theory, the same individual could be extracted from their own timeline several times at different points, bringing together multiple versions of the same person.
The foreboding echo of one's own timeline "pinching" around them has not been heard since Lord Rassilon forbade the use of the Time Scoop, which was once used to transport various beings to Gallifrey's Death Zone wherein they would be forced to participate in "the Game".
