Day 271: Time Splicer

Ahh I’m really bad at keeping this blog updated, mainly because it takes me forever to sit down and write insightful/substantial posts, even though this blog is just for record keeping purposes >___>

♕ Since my last post back at the end of April, I’ve been to Michigan to help my youngest sister move out of her apartment to her summer sublet place (she’s working over the summer as a peer advisor for incoming freshman and transfers) as well as California to see my middle sister graduate from college!~(*´・ｖ・).

♕ My high school orchestra director also retired (”graduated” haha) at the end of the school year and had a final recital at the beginning of May and his last high school orchestra concert at the end of May.  It was like major nostalgia getting to walk around my high school again after 5 years; I feel so old...orz

♕ I also submitted my med school primary application at the beginning of this month and it finally got processed today and is ready to be sent to med schools! @____@  I really should start brainstorming secondary essay topic ideas but I tend to be a procrastinator when I know that the deadline isn’t until July (which is most likely when I will actually hear back from the med schools)...I have ideas in mind but I really should at least write down phrases since it can take a while for me to try to word things as concisely as possible while still getting my point across. :/

♕ I watched Pitch Perfect 2 earlier this week with one of my best friends from high school!  I hadn’t seen the first one so I made sure to watch it over the weekend~  It’s definitely not very accurate regarding college acapella (at least to my personal experience) but it did make me really miss singing with FCS and there were times when I had to refrain from harmonizing with the movie LOL.  I’m not one to watch chick flicks unless other friends want to, but the movie was pretty decent.  I’d give it a 7/10?

♕ I binge watched Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End out of boredom two days ago and now I’m caught up with the latest episode ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧.  The series is aiiiiight (I’m sure the manga is better) and I guess my expectations were too high since it’s so hyped up so much here on Tumblr.  The characters aren’t very original and it’s very much like Attack on Titan but with vampires but I guess it’s something to pass the time.  I like the characters’ outfit designs, even though they kind of remind me of the uniforms worn in D.Gray-man...Anyhoo I was at Kinokuniya Bookstore yesterday and made an impulse buy on the Mika keychain (if I really wanted to, I’m pretty sure I can make my own Mika chibi acrylic charm LOL) which I guess is kind of okay considering that I refrained from buying the Kuroshitsuji II artbook?  Unfortunately the Mika keychain is way too bulky for my phone and I already have DMMd keychains on my purse but I’ll think of someplace to put him...
