we have the time theme (season 6 and before) and the heart theme (follow your heart, not a heart attack, misunderstood the assignment, etc) and in this first episode we had a girl whose heart was failing, and she only had minutes to live, which mixed the two themes, adding a sense of urgency and I have no idea where I'm going with this but there's something in here, I can feel it...

October: Name the darkest or angstiest fic you have written and/or posted?

I'm going to say The Cruelest Fate (link later) since it is entirely about a man who self-describes his job as being to take the hits for the rest of the team and promising to protect the other parts of the OT3 "til my dying day" failing to do that and having to live with them dying. 

November: Do you have any rituals or requirements for getting in the mood for writing?

Not particularly.

The exception is when a fic is based on a song. Then I listen to the song 2 or 3 times before I even start writing, and then loop it as a goo percentage of my during-writing playlist.
