What 'Dark' taught me about Germany...
1-To hide anything of value, everybody hides things randomly. Sometimes in a floor. Sometimes behind wall paper. However, usually, under old railroad tracks or at the base of hallowed out trees. How, when everything looks the same, they can tell WHICH tree is which must be a German thing.
2-Everybody not only walks thru forests, even after people go missing, in the middle of the night, but it's 50/50 if they have a fucking flashlight. Why? GERMANY. Fucking night vision genetics I guess.
3-Every single kid turns into a jaded, vindictive, bitter miserable ole adult. Seriously. Watch all 3 seasons and name ONE fucking happy person! They're all god damn miserable. Constantly. Why? I guess it's back to the German thing.
In all seriousness, I hate hatin' on Germany. Cuz this could be any teenage melodrama from anywhere in the world. I just...how many shows don't have ONE happy person? They all just hate living there and their lives...it's quite bleak. I understand why, but a lot of this, like all real world events, just comes from people lying; either to themselves or others. Just not being truthful...ends the world.
