DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, USE THE "WHISTLE" OPTION FOR THE NOTIFICATION SOUND. Use the "BEEP" option or "PHONE" option instead. Something identifiable as being electronic in origin. The "whistle", at full volume, bears an uncanny resemblance to someone screaming...

It scared the hell out of me because I forgot about the timer thought the dog, who was lying there peacefully, had just screamed in pain, and proceeded to get both dogs looking around at me like "dude what the actual fuck are you doing" as I jumped out of my chair and started to fuss over the one near the table.  Then I started to wonder if a cat was killing a rabbit and making it scream or maybe the house actually COULD be haunted by a screaming woman's ghost under the table... then I just gave it up as "I have no idea" and started surfing around, then I saw the timer site still open and was like "MEGA DERP!!"
