first christmas spent like /this/;

     So it was obvious that the doctor like every other human being celebrated this holiday, however it didn't really seem like he had anyone to celebrate it with. Other than the trickster which he was sure Banner did not want to.      The past month had been a change for the trickster--sure he was still causing trouble, having to hide every once and a while when Bruce got really pissy and almost went green on him but Loki was actually kind of enjoying himself. Using money he had pick pocketed off the street--which he would never tell Banner about, he had managed to buy something for the doctor. Nothing special--just a small thank you? It was wrapped very neatly and placed under the tree on Christmas morning before the other had gotten up.      Loki was unsure what to expect for this day. Whether it be like any other or if Banner came down all cheery like people were suppose to be on Christmas--so he heard anyways. Laying on the couch, he waited for the other to stir.

Something none of them were expecting. They were kids, young and foolish. Beautiful, too, like the sun. They were also strong, but still kids. It happened on a spring, the sun exploded on the skies and they were playing on the gardens, and that’s when it happened. Sitting there, laughing, until Loki pressed his lips against Thor’s and it felt right.

               He felt it before anything. It was a soft, almost unnoticeable feeling around his heart, creeping around it. It made his wake up without breath, his eyes widened and heart beating way too fast. Thor didn't understand, but then again, when did he ever act purely rationally? There was always emotion on his actions, always instinct. 

                                                                                            The clock marked 3:34 A.M.

                  The telephone rang, and he answered it right away. Maybe it was somehow, something from home. Maybe it was some trace of what he longed for the most, something somehow-- it was S.H.I.E.L.D. He should have expected it, really.

                                                                                      He was surprised once he shut the phone down.

                 Surprised, perhaps, although the best way to describe it would be worried. Worried, yes, because all he could understand from the whole conversation-- he was tired and he missed home-- was Asgard and gamma radiation. 

                                                            Which is why at 4:17 A.M, he knocked on Banner's door.
