this was barely mentioned a while ago. a dude mentioned the temples but kate was having a very in depth convo with them about it and she just...wasn't interested in what he meant?  i remember being like "what temples"??

this book should have been written in 3rd person with multiple povs, at least kate and her grandmother so we could see all this shit her grandmother keeps telling her actually happening because all this conversation about it is boring

if half the time and effort spent in sharing unimportant historical facts had been spent spent giving this boring main character some personality, this book would be ten times better

she has no instincts whatsoever and it is astounding

part of me wants to ask what its about, but that might make you review it or think about it more than you want to..

sigh. this book is so bad omg. but anyway it's about this girl who can travel through time. that's the most basic explanation. but there's some kind of thing with her grandfather fucking up time and changing shit to get back at ther grandmother who like RUINED HIS DIABOLICAL PLANS or some shit and the MC is the only one who can fight against him and his ARMY

and these characters are so wooden. the only person with any kind of different characterization is kate's mom and i suppose that's because she's supposed to be kinda temperamental and mean
