the palace was incredibly vast; long, seemingly endless corridors leading to different kingdoms - it seemed. ever since waking from seemingly endless slumber, he'd taken the time to explore. each & every corner of the castle was meant to be checked out & observed. unfortunately, most of them were empty - or filled with the most basic furniture, which he assumed meant it was guest rooms. or something like that. some days he liked hiding in them just so he could get away from it all for a few hours. sometimes he napped, sometimes he read or practiced sewing.
he'd gone for a short nap today towards the late afternoon of the third..? or so day of the celebrations at the castle. they all stayed up quite late the night prior. he felt much better when he woke & a long stretch & small yawn later, he was on his way out - pushing through the door, only to find someone ... "oh!" right there. he almost bumped into a broad chest & stumbled backwards with a little flush tinting his cheeks. "sorry, i didn't think anybody would be here. are you lost?"
