Do we really have enough time?
I don’t think it’s as simple as having enough or not. Time can be gentle, but it can also be painfully cruel. We spend our lives believing we have plenty of it enough to love, enough to speak, enough to show up for the people who matter. Yet somehow, even when we’re close to someone, we still fail to give them the moments they deserve.
So when someone says, “I’m listening,” or “We’ll talk about it later,” I can’t help but think why not now? Why not speak while the moment is still alive? We never know when time will twist, when a chance to express ourselves will slip away, when silence will replace the words we never said while leaving our words unspoken even though they were meant to be heard.
That’s why I believe in listening and speaking from the heart. Don’t hold back. Don’t wait for the perfect moment that may never arrive. Say what matters. Share what you feel. Don’t take time or people for granted. Of course, some things do require their own right moment. Not everything can be rushed. But there’s a difference between waiting wisely and waiting out of fear or habit. And when we learn that difference, we honor both our feelings and the people we care about.
In the end, the truth is simple:
Time doesn’t wait for us.
So speak, share, love while you can.
