the art used in wdw’s timekeeper was so cute. i wish the scans and pictures of it were less crusty
thinking about how wdw used the timekeeper show area as a meet and greet when it was closed for the holiday season but they couldn’t figure out how to cover up timekeeper’s animatronic as it was mounted to the podium
their solution has resulted in some of my favorite pictures ever

the process of localizing le visionarium to the us was completely batshit
for instance, they replaced some scenes in russia with that of new york city’s skyline, which was all well and good until 9/11 happened and it backfired COMPLETELY
and they didn’t know what to do about it, so instead of altering the film they changed the clock to permanently show the year 2000 instead of whatever the year actually was
and when they were developing the film for the original show in dlp, robin williams was the first choice to play timekeeper, but apparently his french was so bad that they immediately had to switch him out for someone else and just saved robin for the english version (44:15)
