You caved and got into Hamilton. I can’t remember when I was quite so obsessed with a musical (I got a physical copy of the cast album as a gift for becoming a sustaining donor to OETA).

Yes. Yes I did. I’m not as into it as I am 1776 or Cats, but I do like it. (I had an inexplicable grudge against Alexander Hamilton for two years) There’s actually a reference to 1776 in “The Adams Administration” : “Sit down, John, you fat mother*BLEEP*”

I really needed to read what you had to write today about Hillary Clinton. So thanks for posting it. Now would also be a good reminder that for all Americans, downballot voting is critical: Not just flipping Congress, but even the fifty individual state legislatures/assemblies, gubernatorial races (if any this year), and even county/muni offices. Progressives need to do what conservatives did decades ago: Start small (city, county) and work their way up. It'll take time but we'll get there. Thx.
