@timeladytoyou (continued from here)
She’d been watching his approach from nearly the first moment he set foot onto the ground. This planet was her playground. At least her newest one. Sensors in orbit detected off-world technology and she couldn’t resist coming to take a peek. He moved about with an air of confidence and will that she could respect but she needed to know what side he was on. Unknown variables were dangerous.
The weapons in his hands brought a sly smile to her face. She was ever so glad he wasn’t a push over. With a flick of her wrist a blade extended from the tip of her umbrella. She curtsied demurely and braced herself for anything.
“You look like an exquisite dancer so yes, I just might have to insist. Only to first blood, though.This is a new dress. Besides.” She laughed. “A lady never kills on the first date.”
For one thing, this ‘lady’ was not human, at least not an ordinary one. A whack from a normal Midgardian would not have unbalanced him. She was intriguing, whatever she was. Loki planned to test her out, not yet seeing a need to activate his helmet. Surely after one or two manoeuvres he would have her surrender and her name.
“I’ll be gentle,” he assured.
He lunged across the shuttle roof with the intent to slice through her umbrella.
