It’s always amazing how well Timeless brings to life pieces of history that we think we know, that we’ve sanitized or sensationalized. 

Salem is the perfect example of this: We know women were killed as witches, accused by their neighbors and friends. And it’s become something of a carnival - but when it comes down to it, these were real women who were abused, killed, and tormented in fear and hate.
