The fact that while Luke’s sabers were largely passed down from Anakin, Leia’s lightsaber is modeled after Obi Wan’s—because he was her *real* introduction to what it means to be a Jedi. She trusted Luke to teach Ben because of Obi Wan.
She built her sacred weapon in his memory. Because it wasn’t just Luke that lost a mentor on the Death Star that day. Her “Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope” wasn’t just about a politician reaching out to a legend.
It was a girl—Anakin and Padmé’s baby girl—reaching out to her childhood friend.
I love you Little Leia.
I love you Carrie Fisher, Vivian Lyra Blair, Ewan McGregor, James Arnold Taylor, Alec Guinness, Matt Lanter, Hayden Christensen, James Earl Jones.

Matt Lanter
Saw The Clone Wars voice actors today for a panel at Game On Expo.
Matt Lanter (Anakin) told us that during a male model reality TV show he did in 2004, he had to skydive out of a plane in only briefs and combat boots for a challenge.
James Arnold Taylor (Obi wan) reminded us that during a SW Celebration panel with Carrie Fisher, she spanked him and also kissed him.
Dee Bradley Baker (Rex/Cody/etc. (all the clones)) said one of his first jobs was a mall Santa... Lanter and Taylor were flinched at this and really got hung up (and brought back up repeatedly) MAUL Santa.
I just had to share these lore drops with you.
Lanter was already mentioning how he expects to see art of his skydiving escapade as Anakin. Taylor and Baker were talking about seeing art of Maul Santa... Well they did ask for it so two more pieces get added to my to-draw list.
