Sometimes it has been near impossible to work out what prequel!Anakin's personality would be and separate it from tcw!Anakin.
Like there are the obvious things like, no he wouldn't be an overconfident jock constantly quipping and acting super macho when Hayden Christensen's performance of Anakin was just not... He would at least cry at Obi-Wan's funeral, I don't understand why Filoni wanted to make him so over the top masculine that he can't even cry when his brotherdad "dies".
Of course he would trust Padme's judgement and wouldn't get jealous of Clovis because Anakin and Padme's relationship is built on mutual trust and respect. He certainly would not beat Clovis half to death just for trying to take his girl! He would definitely stop him from assaulting Padme (kissing her without consent), but he wouldn't try to kill him over it. Clone Wars!Anakin didn't beat Clovis up to protect Padme, he only beat him up out of pure jealous rage. And that is not Anakin.
That is very Vader, but Anakin was not destined to become Vader in universe!!!
But then there are smaller things that Anakin does in the cartoon that make me wonder, would prequel!Anakin do that? Would he say that? And those are harder to weed out! Like is it just because Matt Lanter sounds nothing like Hayden Christensen? If I heard these lines said in Hayden Christensen's voice, would I be able to see prequel!Anakin doing them?
The Ahsoka Series proved that for some lines, yeah kinda! Hearing him shouting things in his General voice and calling her Snips and calling at her to "try to keep up!" are things that I wasn't sure would translate well to prequel!Anakin, but hearing Hayden say them made them just work!
