This is really embarrassing Timeless Tuesday on a Friday, 😥but what was I thinking I could do a comic in a day. After the last samurai jack comic I posted before the finale less just say I was So OVERWHELMED by the amount of likes and reblogs from that little comic 😭from the bottom of my heart thank you.

Now.. this was an idea I had for a while during the 5th season for an epilogue I think a majority of us like to think that Ashi and her sisters sill be reborn again in the new time line long after jack has passed away. So what if one day there just so happens to be a exhibition on ancient Japan and a Morden day Ashi drags her sisters to it, but something catches her eye a old painting depicting the defeat of a ancient evil (according to folklore) by an emperor with no name.

Page 2: Ashi: thanks for coming guys I know this isnt your sort of thing

Sister: well it was either this or shopping with mom.

Another sister: hah!

Ashi can’t explain it but she feels drawn to it and a certain samurai pays her a visit, happy to see his precious Ashi has had. Chance to live a peaceful life 😢and now I made myself cry

I fully intend to put Wednesday and Thursday up however I think after this I think’ll keep it simple

Timeless Tuesday-Another Place and Time

For Timeless Tuesday, I had in mind an head canon where Ashi and Jack are reincarnated in the new Aku-free future. Unaware of who they once were in their past lives and what they went through. They live much more  peacefully in a small town by the sea. I might write a comic of this one day.

Kiss, Marry, Kill Part Two: Marry

Summary: All Ashi had to do was put down her boss’ greatest enemy, a man who walked the streets known as the Samurai. If she could kill him, she could be free.

Classic style on a classic ship.. at the Bristol Docks Heritage Weekend earlier this year. If my hat doesn't give away the lack of historical authenticity with its slightly casual appearance for a rather more formal ensemble, the plastic chairs stacked on the deck of the MV Balmoral, along with the more trendy styling of its other visitors certainly does, but hey! As far as I'm concerned, it's more about the underlying principle than replicating any particular historical period (although that can be fun, and there's certainly a time & place for that).

So what makes something classic? Is the term a reference to social class? It's usage in common parlance suggests otherwise - that it describes something in a class of its own, unique in its timeless appeal. And it's certainly true that the styles of bygone ages do seem to retain an appeal that is not seen in the latest trends that are fashionable today and dated tomorrow. When I aspire to dress according to classic principles, it's not just so I can feel good, it's so I can make people happy from the first instant I'm seen. And that's not for compliments, although it's nice to have the feedback - it's just a little thing that hopefully helps make life more liveable for those around me.

The same goes for pretty much anything where human creativity is involved - are we creating to make a statement, or are we creating to make people happy? Imagine what a different world we would live in if the things that form the backdrop of our lives have an aesthetic appeal that makes us genuinely happy every time we encounter them.
