Enjoy the delicious taste of chocolate and pumpkin together with this moist and flavorful Chocolate Marble Pumpkin Bread. This timeless favorite is made even more elegant with the marbling effect, making it the ideal treat for any time of year.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 1 tsp ground cinnamon. 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg. 1/4 tsp ground cloves. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 cup canned pumpkin puree. 1/4 cup milk. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a loaf pan. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Set aside. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the pumpkin puree, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture and mix until just combined. Remove 1 cup of the batter and place it in a separate bowl. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips to create the chocolate batter. Pour the pumpkin batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly. Spoon the chocolate batter on top of the pumpkin batter and use a knife or skewer to create a marble effect by gently swirling the two batters together. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the chocolate marble pumpkin bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
