I think difference is that with Bruce every criminal he dates he's like "I can fix them!" or "Wish they wouldnt do that :/" meanwhile with Tim dating Elijah the way i see it, it would be like "“i could fix him” yeah? well i could accept him as he is. you don’t like the murder? grow up. the atrocities are part of him and ive decided they’re funny" or "i already did my time fixing someone elses shit *glares at Bruce* i aint doing it again. What he murders people? Good for him! I like a man with hobbies and coping mechanisms no matter how deranged they are."

Listen Tim personally wouldn’t kill but he also doesn’t judge (he was besties with Pru) so I just know he would be perfectly ok with Elijah more murderous tendencies, also it is Desmond’s, as Elijah’s father, responsibility to keep his son from murdering people, that ain’t Tim’s job 😌
