"we should play hooky today again ...."
Growth spurt
"You do know what that means , right ..?" "....."
Silk Flowers Trumpet-shaped , golden in color with a red center , five stamens protrude from the center . These trees grow all over planet Vegeta, but the largest one is planted in the center of the palace's royal garden , a personal request from Queen Eschallotte . The flowers bloom all year round, in all seasons, in all terrains , and are used as a symbol of eternity and permanence among the Saiyan people.
Hay guys have this doodle today
Aha .
Some little ... bits of lour , bits of context (GRINNING) for my most recent drawinggg ‼️‼️💥💥💥
Being children with very high power levels , they had their own respective , super strict training regimes that left little room for relaxation , always having to do something , be it studying or training .
Aspa begins to sneak out of training , "playing hooky" as was the caption of this one , and , despite his protests , she'd drag vegeta out with her to go waste time .
Their favorite spot to hang out on days like these where they'd skip out on training for a little while was a tree in the royal palace gardens (its supposed to have flowers , I just didn't feel like drawing them lol) . They'd either hang out under the tree or go into the capital and waste money on snacks , or just go around to see the sights
They'd sit like this , Aspa's head in his lap while she talked to him about whatever as he listened to her yap . A little break from the strain and expectations from their daily lives spent in the comfort of each other's company
A DIVERGING PATH
→ have you been re-introduced to AERES GWYNN? last we heard, the HALFBLOOD was most familiar with TIMELINE THREE. I don’t recall if they were always a SLYTHERIN, but I’ve heard the SEVENTH YEAR is still DIPLOMATIC, AMBITIOUS, KIND-HEARTED and RELUCTANT, COWARDLY, SELFISH, so that’s familiar. at least SHE remembers their way around the castle.
THEIR LIFE IN FULL
→ aeres had seen the other slytherins’ reactions to her last name, knew that they were mentally marking her down as being a pureblood of welsh heritage, knew that they were erasing her mothers’ existence as a muggleborn witch. but she also knew that correcting them would only serve to cause issues for herself, so she stayed silent. silence was it’s own sort of weapon, a self-inflicted one perhaps, but a weapon nonetheless. aeres fit easily with the slytherins, listening with silent disgust as they casually degraded muggleborn wix, listening silently as they paraded their blood statuses. aeres was the silent one, always waiting never acting and only speaking when she couldn’t possibly avoid saying something.
→ the thing about lies, is that they eventually start to fracture. but aeres learned to patch up the lies, to distract with truth that was prettier. she wove stories about family trips to paris, talking about the custom made gowns that she had to wear to parties - failing to mention that they were made by contacts of her muggeborn mother. lies of omission to hide other lies of omission, and eventually she found herself in quite the web. she had been living the life of a pureblood - a life that her own blood didn’t entitle her to even if her parents were both talented, and her fathers’ line could be traced back to the founding of hogwarts. and the truth always comes to light.
→ in timeline three, the truth came to light just before the timelines crashed together. she was exposed, as a fraud and a liar. some of her fellow slytherins called for her head on a silver platter and she knew that the dark didn’t think very highly of her - not when it had all been lies. but she kept her head held high, continuing to insist that her mother was a perfectly acceptable child of two squibs - a fact that couldn’t be proven without a blood test. and luckily for her, her mother agreed to not risk it instead agreeing to go along with her lies until graduation. and now it feels like she’s counting down the days until it all falls apart again.
A WORLD UPSIDE DOWN
→ aeres knows that in timeline one she never lied - and she is incredibly envious of that version of herself, wonders what it would be like to never have to face the war. timeline two however is another situation; she wonders if she managed to hide the truth for long enough to get out unscathed; but she’s terrified to ask anyone, worried about what the answer might be.

A DIVERGING PATH
→ have you been re-introduced to RITA SKEETER? last we heard, the PUREBLOOD was most familiar with TIMELINE THREE. I don’t recall if they were always a RAVENCLAW, but I’ve heard the SEVENTH YEAR is still DILIGENT, IDEALISTIC, INTELLIGENT and ABRASIVE, DECEITIFUL, MERCILESS, so that’s familiar. at least SHE remembers their way around the castle.
THEIR LIFE IN FULL
→ rita marie skeeter has always craved two things in life: love & attention. from the moment she was born, she would cry and scream until she was coddled in someone’s arms. perhaps it was a side effect of always being seen as second best. you see, it was rita’s sister, anna skeeter, who was viewed as the golden child, the little girl who could do no wrong, the sickeningly sweet miracle that rita’s parents had always hoped for. rita, on the other hand, was an accident — and she had to spend every second of her childhood proving she was worth anyone’s time. this, of course, left the young girl starved for affection — she craved it so intensely, the kind of love and attention that her sister was showered in, that any time she was even remotely praised for something, she would repeat that action again and again and again until she was told off for being boring. she moulded herself after anna, so beautiful, so graceful, so intelligent and creative and multi-talented — but never quite enough.
→ rita’s first year at hogwarts was an absolute nightmare. as anna was a seventh year and head girl at the time, she constantly lived in the shadow of this brilliant, extraordinary witch. rita tried everything to get noticed, to be a pioneer within the ravenclaw house, but nothing she did was ever enough for what anna had accomplished when she was her age. it wasn’t until rita decided to put her keen observational skills to use that she began to garner some attention. having spent her whole life up until now observing her older sister, picking for flaws, she knew how to see things that no one else could even dream of seeing. by the end of her first year, she had started so much gossip and intrigue that nearly everyone, including those in older years, would come to her if they had a curiosity they wanted confirmed about another student. for the next three years, rita clung to this. she’d always wanted to be the best at something, and if this meant she was the best at gossip, then who was she to complain? people were talking to her now, they wanted things from her that no one else could give, and so she leaned into this, pushing and prodding at buttons that everyone else was too scared to even go near and spreading rumours like there was no tomorrow. she was a queen at this, at watching and manipulating and deceiving to get the information she might need to cause a ruckus, and having never particularly cared for the feelings of others in the first place, she had no problem ruining lives if it meant she got the attention she needed.
→ by the time she entered fifth year, spreading gossip through word of mouth simply wasn’t enough for this ambitious young girl. and so little rita pulled together a team and began a school newspaper, a lengthy publication left at the doorstep of every dorm on the first saturday of every month. the newspaper kept updates on the outside world, the running tally of house points, run-downs of the most recent quidditch games, a q&a and, of course, skeeters corner — hogwarts’ new gossip column. now in her seventh year, rita has still kept up the ‘ hogwarts times ’, now head editor and of course head writer of skeeters corner. but of course, ruining lives and spreading secrets is a lonely, lonely job. while rita is widely popular and known by many, even respected by some, she has very little in the way of friends and even less to say in the romance department. while she of course has that attention that she has always craved, she is now missing the love — and sometimes she wonders which is more important.
A WORLD UPSIDE DOWN
→ oh, the timeline switch. a story which, to rita, just writes itself. so much drama to uncover, secrets and lies and other lives lived, all laid out on a silver platter for the queen of gossip herself. rita couldn’t be more excited to return to hogwarts, to sink her teeth into the ridiculousness of the situation at hand, to write and write and write and write about all that is crumbling to pieces around her. because where everyone is concerned about themselves, about what they were up to, rita couldn’t care less about herself. (or at least, that’s what she tells herself. what’s the point of hearing about a life that isn’t even hers? maybe she was loved, maybe she was kinder, sweeter, smarter, better, but there’s no use pondering on what isn’t reality. right? focus on everyone else. on the drama. because you’re own life is far too close to home.)
