This story in most ways shaped how America viewed blacks and now in 2017 still it happens but has changed its form. Often times I try to out my modern day self back in a time when people didn't consider me a person and wonder who would I be or would I have survived. And in my thoughts I have doubt's, the strength I carry, very well could end my life.... That's mind blowing!!!! Deep Sigh Back to the story at hand, this lady has admitted after 62 years that she lie about Emmitt Till whistling at her. I personally feel very bias, I want to curse and scream among a whole host of things, but then I remember what is it going to change. Many people think she should be prosecuted, killed/hang, pay the family. Harsh you say, well think about what this adolescent had to endure because of this lie. I keep thinking how in the world were people this cruel but I've never been white so I don't know their logic especially back during this period.....
