What kind of pumpkin protects castles? A royal gourd.
“Title’s just for show,” Geralt answers as he crosses his arms. He looks comfortable and well at ease, returning quite effortlessly, “Seen them already, in fact. Can’t say they have any guts.”

I hear when a new baby comes into the family that many changes are necessary.
Yeah, yeah, laugh it up all you want honey but wait until you have to raise your own brood.
Why did the family join the spy agency? Because it was a clan destine operation.
are you trying to out-pun me
You are a stale funyun, Kron.
“…That’s good. What do you want me to do about it?”
Spent and drained, Kron would be damned if he so much as moved an inch, even breathed too much, but there was a crumpled roll of paper on his desk that he hated more. He tossed it into a nearby trash bin. It missed. A ping went off on his omnitool but he was too unmotivated to care about that, either.

❝I was not aware the nights were beginning to grow this cold...❞
A hushed breath shown visibly through the chill of the night was the first thing that gave her presence in the dark away. There was a heat that emanated from her, one hot enough to make the frigid air around her hiss against her skin. It grew increasingly difficult to see in the dark, but at the base of her hooves lay a dormant totem, one she had her gaze settled on as she spoke to the presence approaching her. Within moments a fire flickered upon it, the Light swirling within the base of the flame it created as the cold surrounding it ebbed.
❝Come, friend. I would not want you to freeze in this dreadful weather. The totem will keep us warm for the time being.❞

"Heyyy, if you see an orc barrel past looking for an undead kid, I'm not here." Perhaps not the best thing to tell somebody when avoiding someone else, but before he could think too hard about whether or not this woman would even help him out, he vanished into the shadows and hid somewhere behind her. Moments later, the orc he referenced would march past, covered in rotten egg with a pumpkin on his head, demanding "Where the hell is that undead brat?!"
👫 ( I know they haven't interacted much yet bUT......... )
Send a 👫and I’ll write four headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship
1) the bronze dragonflight are not exactly known for their aptitude with social interaction. despite being introduced to the flight by one of their own, the young half elf felt awfully isolated during her time in the caverns; the bronze were always focusing on their own business to care for the business of others – perhaps rightfully so. there were a few choice exceptions, though, and such exceptions were family in the eyes of the young Dawnstrider. Remmi was the first of those to approach; the first to offer comfort to the paladin during a trying time in her life. she has never forgotten this, and for this reason Remmi remains one of her closest companions.
2) their relationship did not start off as intended – mostly because of the dragon’s choice of guise. Bo’dariel had no good experiences with elves aside from her mother, so initially she was put off by the similarity; the familiar sting of a race whom did not welcome her existence. Remmi did not change her form, but did offer clarity and a lesson for the young half elf; a lesson to not judge based on past experiences. “the thing with mortals is they’ve an uncanny ability to both repeat past mistakes, as well as learn from them.” again, the paladin has not forgotten those words; they have shaped her outlook on the world to judge only based on the actions of the present; the past should be remembered but not clung to; the future should be bright and expectant - though always a mystery.
3) the two shared one major thing together; their uncanny curiosity. often they would go on adventures - whether through travel or through story-telling. they always had questions and answers to offer to said questions. for those rare times they did not have answers, however, they would seek them out through their own means. of course, times they may be reprimanded for such behaviours - though Remmi knew of the consequences of delving too deeply into mysteries; she always kept a watchful eye over the other. unbeknownst to the dragon, however: Beau did the very same.
4) as their relationship grew, Beau confided in the dragon about thoughts of a darker nature; of her doubts and her worries – things she kept bottled that she knew she shouldn’t. such counsel was a comfort to her, and one that the paladin would offer in kind for the future, when the dragon would begin to have her own doubts. there was an understanding between the two of them of the type of being they were; positive, yes, but always wondering of the outcome; of their fates. it was no secret to them that these worries were abound; a silent pact is what they had, however – a quiet understanding that, even if they said nothing, they understood.
