The way my jaw dropped when reading this part of Times Five by @pickledcarrotsandradish not even mentioning the rest of that chapter.
(Noting that I know Leader's color went back to original blue already during this scene, but it was easier to tell that there are two Leo's in this art piece with different coloring. Plus, the dark blue is high key a LOOK.)
these have been rattling around my brain for months, so i figured it was finally time to post them AHA
i felt bad posting these without some kind of spoiler warning because i love this scene so. times five. on ao3. by @pickledcarrotsandradish. you should check it out!!

Rottmnt Fanfic Summary:
"You," Donnie breathed as Mikey looked just as lost as the rest of them, "I found out what that staff did. I know what happened to you. What you are."
Leo blinked at the weird accusation, "Wha? Oh, Dee, I told you to throw that thing out."
"Yeah! You did!" Donnie bit out.
"Donnie," Raph started to move forward, "What's-"
"So, then, who are you?" Donnie snarled.
Leo smiled, "I'm Leo."
"Which. Part." Donnie began, stomping towards him until Mikey jumped in the way.
Or, Leo gets struck by a mystic beam that splits him into five parts of himself; literally.
And they don't seem interested in coming back together

Plot: 💛💛💛💛💛
"Plot is five out of five!! The plot for this fic is highly entertaining, and interesting!! It contains some really well placed plot twists, and some fun little changes to the classic 'split up into various personalities' trope that I really enjoyed seeing!! Excellent story indeed!!"

anarky, into the anarky-verse : or, a remarkably self-indulgent concept fic based on a whole bunch of vaguely scientific mumbo jumbo
There were four of them.
Well, five, if they counted the the one clad in white who brought them all here for the purpose of wreaking havoc and chaos upon the city. One thing he didn’t count on, however, was all of them -- well, most of them -- not sharing his ideals.
The one in scarlet seemed to be Anarky for the longest time by the way he carried himself, though he was the second youngest. The one with a patchwork of scars across his face was the oldest and by far the one most likely to switch onto the White King’s (as they’d taken to calling the white-clad Anarky) side for the sake of chaos. The second eldest wore a black hoodie and a was natural-born leader; the youngest was blond and seemed to be fond of explosives.
“This isn’t working.” Black Hoodie said. “We need to come up with some sort of code. We’re all Lonnie, and we’re all Anarky. We can’t just ... you know.”
The youngest nodded his agreement. “It’s getting confusing already.”
“Can I choose? I love naming things.” The scarred one asked, to which the crimson one shook his head.
“Absolutely not. Look, for a few years I was Moneyspider. I can go by that.”
The youngest nodded his agreement, before glancing at the second eldest. “You could be Hoodie. Since you have on a hoodie.”
There was a hint of a smile under the stark-white mask. “Wow. We’re great at this,” He mumbled. “Hoodie it is. You could be Little Red -- you’ve got Moneyspider’s crimson thing going on too, after all.”
“’Little Red’ makes me sound like a child,” he protested. “I’m not --”
“We don’t think you’re any less capable. All of us here are ‘children’ in the eyes of others,” Moneyspider began, “Save for Scars over there. It’s purely for convenience and to minimize confusion.”
“Scars! I like that!” The eldest gave them a cold smile. “Very fitting.”
Moneyspider gave Scars an odd look, a sort of recognition in his eyes. He looked away quickly. “The Batman will be looking for all of us. He’ll assume we’re working with the White King.”
“Of course he would,” Red spat, his voice dripping with venom. “He always assumes we’re the bad guys.”
Spider and Hoodie mumbled their agreements, while Scars’s brows furrowed. “You guys know Batman?”
“You ... don’t?” Hoodie replied.
“No. Why would I?”
“Because he’s the whole reason we became Anarky in the first place,” Red explained. His voice held a shaky quality to it, as though he was always on the verge of panicking. “Well, at least, I did.”
Spider nodded, and Hoodie shrugged. “I was partly inspired by him, sure, but I mostly do my own thing. I had a few run-ins with him, though.”
“He stuck me in juvie god-knows how many times,” Spider said. “I tried to kill him once or twice. You know how it goes.”
Scars laughed -- well, he chortled, really. “Well, I’d certainly love to live in a timeline where I got the opportunity to go after Batsy. I’ve never even been to Gotham save for this.”
The others stared at him, their masks hiding equally blank expressions. Hoodie broke the silence. “I’ve been in Gotham my entire life.”
“Born in Vegas,” Spider said, “Been in Gotham since I was three months old. I just moved back there, actually.”
“Born and raised Gothamite,” Red mumbled. “What sort of Anarky are you, if you only fight for chaos?”
The mask Scars wore moved with his expressions. His smile was ... uncanny. “I’m the true sort of anarchy --”
“Christ, you sound like Ulysses,” Spider cut him off. “ Ohh, look at me, I don’t give a shit about politics, I’m a centrist, I support free speech so I won’t stop racists from threatening genocide because they’re allowed to have their opinions, what sort of leftist garbage is ‘caring about people’ , ohhhh, I’m an incel and child-soldier wannabe and I’m pissed because I didn’t get to be Robin --”
“Who’s Ulysses?” Red asked.
“You haven’t met him?”
The others shook their heads. Moneyspider stared at them for a moment. “He stole the mantle of Anarky. I got it back, obviously, but ...”
“Can we focus?” Hoodie asked. “There’s a psychopath in white who apparently is also Lonnie Machin -- we have to bring him down and get home.”
I’m sad bc tomorrow is Sunday and Sundays are my weekend homework days and right now I don’t have much homework but I know it’s coming and that stresses me out.
