Playing Batman: Arkham City right now. I don’t like capes, I’ve never liked capes. I’m perching right now, and the literal mesh for the cape is stuck on a corner. Clipping.

i have sudden motivation to write about my arkhamverse au where jason goes to bruce because he's very joker...ified and since he's with harley after joker dies she's like "ugh! you need to kill him!!! he killed my boo!" and then he goes and blah blah blahblah

I know I'm not the first to say this but the ending to Arkham City was so gay and campy. A bit absurd, truly. One of Joker's final lines being 'get your cute ass down here' to Bruce's 'I would've saved you' to carrying him out of Arkham City bridal style. Not Talia, mind you, the woman he supposedly loves. And I'm not even a Joker/Batman fan but c'mon, it writes itself.

how would the rogues (harley+ivy included) feel about a SO who’s a reporter/journalist? especially one who reports about the darker side of gotham and tries to expose corruption in the city?

Rogues W/ Journalist/Reporter S/O

Harley Quinn/Harleen Quinzel

She thinks you're pretty ballsy!

I mean going out there and sticking your nose where it shouldn't be is a dangerous business, especially in Gotham.

She's quite friendly with the other rogues so she would be able to know some schemes and plans the others had going on and give you a little tip off.

She was a psychiatrist so she could give her "anonymous" opinion on the subjects you were reporting on such as criminal phycology and behaviour.

She would be very supportive as long as you can handle yourself, if you're not as physically capable she might offer some of her goons for protection (in casual wear of course) or even herself as a bodyguard.

Poison Ivy/Pamela Isley

She's quite supportive, she was and still is very interested in eco movements and protecting the environment so she'd be very interested in your pieces on companies ruining that said environment such as the air, parks or nature reserves.

She was probably a fan of yours before you met, especially your piece on how Ace Chemicals was dumping their waste in the forestry just outside of the Gotham city limits.

If you tended to write about other forms of corruption she would be happy to oblige you in your interview process by brainwashing CEO's into answering your questions.

The Riddler/Edward Nygma

He admires you greatly for your work, and preferred your pieces even before you became romantically involved, especially over the likes of that Jack Ryder. (yes yes he knows he's your co-worker and a decent writer-)

He would be concerned about you risking your health or safety for a report on the shady side of Gotham so please use his technological skill to get information directly from these people!

He can get you a recording of any phone call and a printout of any email or other correspondence. No, its not cheating!

He would be happy to loan you his goons for back up if you do insist on going in person.

Twoface/Harvey Dent

Oh they really admire you!

Back before their... lifestyle change, this kind of thing was their whole purpose. Bringing these kinds of people to the public and exposing them was their life and ultimately the cause of their attack.

They would be supportive but they know how bad this can break for you if you draw the ire of a particularly cruel and corrupt person so would encourage you to take their goons with you or any form of protection.

They would be the most hesitant to support you in this work for obvious reasons.

Fairly recently did an art study of Two-Face for one of my classes, picked his Arkhamverse concept design sheet as a reference.

I also headcanon him having a glass eye, because, dude, how did that thing not fall out yet. Half of the rogues can't see shit (Harley, Scarecrow, Penguin, Riddler and sometimes Freeze all wear some sort of glasses at some point), no wonder Batman always wins
