Third heat stroke death of year reported in Alabama
The extreme heat is believed to be the cause of a north Alabama's man death, according to the TimesDaily of Florence.
The newspaper reports Cleophus Alexander "TT" Woods, 42, died Wednesday. He was taken to a hospital Monday after suffering a heat stroke, family members told the paper.
State health officials told the paper the number of heat-related deaths in Alabama may rise due to at least a weeklong process in issuing death certificates.
