Kekipi sat at the empty bar of the diner, her stool twisted around to watch the rain outside. She listened to the sound of the rain hitting the pavement and the sound of thunder rumbling outside. She softly hummed, taking a sip of her coffee as she relaxed, enjoying how quiet it was in the diner. There was practically no one in there and she was happy for that, well, there appeared to be another person in the diner with her but they were quiet.
They had been there before she had gotten there, she had only been there for a moments. She would glance at them every now and then, figuring they were a drifter just like her. They didn’t look like they were at all from around here. She mostly kept her eyes on the window, watching the rain come down. She did wonder where the other man was from.

She wasn’t unfamiliar with the traces of strange energy on Earth; The TARDIS had picked it up for the longest time - but it was hard to track. In other words; it was all over the place, and very faint. She had set up this program a while ago, to follow it and it’s progression, and with a DING, it suddenly came up with a result.
“Awh! Been waitin’ ages for this!” The Doctor practically bounced up towards the monitor, checking the results over. It was still faint, still hard to read, but there was a general time and location. It was finally time to figure out what was going on with this. Because nothing normal gave those kinds of signatures, especially spread throughout time and space - confined to one planet.
Landing in early fourteenth century England, she exited the TARDIS onto a random street filled with people. No one seemed to notice the appearance of the TARDIS - perception filter, best thing ever. Held in her hand, was a small tracking device. Thankfully, in this time, the energy signature was more precise. Closer she was, the more precise - the more strong - it would be. Pulling the doors to a close behind her, she set off, keeping an eye on the devise in her hand as she navigated the olden streets.
“Of all the people here, why me?"

“Uh....huh...” Harley glanced around the room from her position beside him as if noticing it was full of people for the first time. But of course she knew - was painfully aware of the sheer number of people around them, and who most of them were. “Does it really matter right this second, sweetie?” The term of endearment sounded like a threat, but Harley smiled like it wasn’t. She rested a light hand on his shoulder as she turned to face the stranger more fully, and met his eyes. “You’re good-lookin’ and I don’t know ya. Is that not good enough? I’m only askin’ ya to pretend for like, five minutes.”

“You look kinda familiar... I don’t reckon you have relatives who were your age in the 70s?”
“I’m sorry if I gave you the wrong impression.”

Natasha shook her head. “You didn’t. Just the usual.” She leaned back in her chair. She never expected anything because things can turn at the drop of a hat. One a few people does she trust completely that wouldn’t turn on her. She expected almost everyone to do that. “Then just tell me. What is is that you really came here for? Might as well let everything out in the open.” Crossing her arms in front of her as she sat up. Her fingers dancing on the pen that was in the table.
