my opinion on;
character in general: OKAY SO FUNNY STORY but I’m pretty sure I’ve laid witness to Jess’ Martha way longer than these other posers because we were in Williamsburg together and I was one of the OG applicants. So I think myself a fairly apt judge when I say that your Martha is on hella point. You go above and beyond just being Jefferson’s wife and I think you capture her essence in a way that is pertinent to modern audiences.
how they play them: Exceptionally, remarkably, supremely and superbly well! The supercalifragilisticexpialidociousis is strong in this one. I don’t know much about Martha – does anyone? – so your portrayal helps to flesh out the gaps history has left us!
the mun: Jess, Jess, Jess. Where do I even begin with this one? You are an issue, first of all. Your muse is an issue. Hamilton finds issue with you and honestly, I would fight you in a heartbeat but I’m also super excited to have you on my dash/really stoked that you decided to bring Martha to indie for the sole purpose of us reconciling.
