Exposure Timing Device
It’s Fine Press Friday!
This week we present Timing Devices, poems by Paul Mariani and wood engravings by Barry Moser, printed in an edition 175 copies at Moser’s Pennyroyal Press in Easthampton, Massachusetts in 1977. The paper is Ingres mould-made by the Hahnemühle mills in Dassel, Germany. The type is Hermann Zapf’s Palatino. The illustrations were printed from original wood blocks and the book features a fold-out of five wood engravings. Presswork was done by the master printer Harold McGrath, and the binding was done by Gray Parrot in Hancock, Maine. Our copy is signed by the poet and the artist, and is another generous gift from our friend, Jerry Buff.
