@timmcosplay and I were at PAX West 2017 this past weekend! Its a con I’ve wanted to visit for many, many years, and now that we live in Victoria, Seattle’s just a hop, skip, and a boat ride away. We journeyed south last week, explored Seattle, and then joined the best nerd party I’ve ever had the pleasure to attend. Seriously, the atmosphere at PAX was just so friendly and welcoming, and it was such a well organized set up that we just had an absolute blast. We’ll definitely have to go back. There was so much to see and do that we barely scratched the surface of it all this time. :)

Also, some personal eeee. I got to see @markiplier in the real! There’s a checkmark for the bucket list. :) I’ve been watching his videos since the early SCP Containment Breach playthroughs many years ago and he’s been a pretty big source of encouragement for me over the years while I muck about with comic making. Getting to see him meant a lot to me. Next time we have the opportunity we’ll try to get to see him at a signing and actually say hello, too.
Pretty sure that any year when we can get tickets we’ll be attending PAX again. It was just too good of an experience! I’d like to make it a regular thing.
