AND I'm about to read this entire series all over again! YES! 😁 My most favorite graphic novel series of ALL TIME: #TheBooksofMagic! Before #HarryPotter (whom I ALSO love) there was #TimothyHunter. I remember the first time I ever came across The Books of Magic. It was back in the day when my mom used to take me to the library, when libraries still had that dimly-lit, dusty bookshelves, stamp-the-book-to-borrow charm to it...I found "The Books of Magic: Bindings" in, I think the Fantasy section or something. All I saw was "MAGIC" and I HAD to have it! Lol. I borrowed it (along with the other ton of books I had because back then there was no limit on how MANY books you borrowed or how many TIMES you renewed the books), read it, and though I didn't completely understand it, I fell in LOVE with it. Then I found it it was a SERIES and then....the REAL magic began right there. My mom would take me to the comic book store every month to get one (or TWO if she could afford it) installment of the series until I finally had ALL of the collected graphic novels. Man....this series was a MAJOR influence in my life on so many levels, especially with my creativity and imagination. It was (and still is) a world of escape and wonder but at the same time still relatable.
