finally found a nice guy on tinder

Haven't had a hit on my Tinder since I got here to North Jersey/Hudson County. While I get it, it has been pretty disheartening. I know it's just how these things work, men in general get less hits than women do, but even still, it's disheartening AF. Like I tried to put some real effort into it because to me that's the key. Tried to take at least half-decent photos of myself and put some personality in the 'about me' section and answered all the questions, the whole 9 yards. But it just doesn't seem to have had any impact.

Considering just pausing my profile and deleting the app again. Been single for a year, and at 34 I know it only gets harder from here, but I don't know that I wanna keep seeing the app and knowing just how little it matters regardless of how much effort I put into it.

Ok so don’t judge me, but I hooked up with a guy last night (that was not the guy I went on a date with 🫣) and now I’m trying to decide if I want to continue it or let it be just a one night stand.

On the one hand it feels good to be the one to make the decision to continue or not. And he was so blasé with my disclosure it was nice to have just felt like I wasn’t a pariah.

On the other hand the sex was good, but nothing phenomenal (granted we had just only met..)
