Haven't had a hit on my Tinder since I got here to North Jersey/Hudson County. While I get it, it has been pretty disheartening. I know it's just how these things work, men in general get less hits than women do, but even still, it's disheartening AF. Like I tried to put some real effort into it because to me that's the key. Tried to take at least half-decent photos of myself and put some personality in the 'about me' section and answered all the questions, the whole 9 yards. But it just doesn't seem to have had any impact.
Considering just pausing my profile and deleting the app again. Been single for a year, and at 34 I know it only gets harder from here, but I don't know that I wanna keep seeing the app and knowing just how little it matters regardless of how much effort I put into it.
