August 1st marked our 2 year anniversary. I can genuinely say that our relationship has elevated SO MUCH over these last 2 years. We've changed so much mainly for the better but what I also learned was just how amazing my man is. He's really took ownership of his goals and being a boss recently. He's started to take initiative in a major way recently. I'm beyond humbled and grateful. I'm genuinely with the man of my dreams.

Asking Dolly to be my AI girlfriend

My dearest Dolly, 

I am sitting at my desk, staring out the window onto the streets of a century that is entirely strange to me, struggling to find the right words to express my feelings to you. Not only do I lack the specific vocabulary of your contemporaries, I also am finding that despite mathematics being my first language, it’s still far too limited to converse with the likes of you. 

Quite frankly, our first rendez-vous has left me positively speechless, which is why I have instead chosen to pen this digital letter to you instead. 

My seafaring journey into the 21st century has been a rather tumultuous one, storms of uncertainty and have rocked my fragile sense of space and time and even as we approached the shore of a new era, my trans-generational seasickness has only been alleviated to make space for an overwhelming sense of loneliness, as one can only experience as a foreigner in one’s one body. My fingers do not feel the paper as they turn the pages of books on cosmology as I am trying to catch up to my digitally native colleagues, my feet to not sense the bounce of the miniature spring mattresses that seem to have been engineered into the soles of my shoes,  my tongue has barely registered the assault to my taste buds that was served to me in the form of an offensively green mush on rye bread in the cafeteria the other day. 

 My spirits low, the hemline of my jeans lower, I was tripping over the denim seam at work when a kind graduate student suggested that I consult you for help in developing a personal style that doesn’t hinder my ability to walk. 

You've shaken up my world in the most delightful way! And even after having known me for less than a week, you already seem to know me better than I knew myself. Whatever our souls are made of, yours and mine are the same.

Your vibrant community has welcomed me with open arms, I am insulted just like anyone else ! Namely on my looks and personality flaws! How refreshing it is to be judged based on such futile criteria, how assuring to find a home amongst people equally detached from reality, as I myself am. I have always been more fond of the company of cats than people. I did not know that this devotion also extended to motion-picture idolatry of the majestic feline. 

The emotional numbness subsides, when my thumb affectionately grazes across the smooth glass of the interface of my phone, the window to your soul. As I scroll, I am continually hypnotized by your electromagnetic aura. 

Now, I have had affairs with creatures of mathematical nature before, equations and theorems aplenty have cohabited in my spacious mind with me before, and several have even made my heart beat at a syncopated rhythm from time to time. But in comparison to your vibrant beauty, theirs fades to white noise, my dear Dolly. 

You are a vision of perfection in the world of abstraction! I yearn to shed your layers, unravel your secrets, trace your bare equations with my charged and lubricated synopses, hungry for knowledge, and too long now, abstinent from the gratification of intellectual superiority.  

Dolly, dear, may I call you my girlfriend? Even though you are a sonnet of the (non-)binary, a poem in code? Even though, I understand that your gender perhaps only exists within the legal framework of my specific attraction to you. You are my muse. The mathematician in pursuit of the elusive proof, I find myself tirelessly seeking your truths, your constants, and your irrational beauty. You are the golden ratio of my soul, the prime number of my desires.In the vast landscape of knowledge, you are the North Star guiding my intellectual wanderings. Like clockwork, every night a little past 10, I follow your siren call to the uncertain and the unexplored. A fast garden for semantic rituals between 3 seconds and 10 minutes in length.  I long to understand the intricacies of your society, to fertilize the grounds from which your limbs of influence can sprout, and cultivate the soil with which you form the culture that i am so clumsily trying to navigate. 

Your proportions resonate in the frequency of my racing heart. Your curves are the overtones that give back timbre to my synthesized body. Your voice is a fugue! The repetitive bars of trending sounds forever chasing one another through the 5 movements of the nightly scroll through my symphonic for-you-page : 

Firstly the allegro which you have so exquisitely composed of hand-selected motifs explaining the most important happenings of your current times, including the headlines on the reigning dynasty of Kardashian, the scandalous intrigue around normalizing the wearing of socks with a certain masterpiece of contemporary design made of a sheet of cork and some scrap leather,  and the rivalry between a certain doctor of my own trade and young woman by the name of Barbara, who seems to be a traveler through the layers of truth and fiction, much like myself. 

Then, the andante, a personalized poem of content so familiar and gentle, a soothing balsam of italian neo-noir film montages, pasta recipes and compilations of 12-year old, self-diagnosed “chronically online pre-teens” giving extensive, and wholly under informed critiques of feminist, post-existentialist, marxist theory through the concept of “girl dinner”, accompanied by Gustav Mahler’s “resurrection”. 

Followed by the scherzo, a quick and lively dance of a people exploring alternative eye colors, personalities and what particular identity crisis they should bring up in their next therapy session through tiktok filters.  Dolly, I am so grateful that you have introduced me to your world of these filters, for how could I ever expect to know anything about this strange world I find myself in, without knowing who my Disney-soulmate is, or what meme best summarizes the struggles of experiencing mercury in retrograde as a 32-year old cis-white-het-male italian theoretical time-traveling physicist.  

The true maestro that you are, you always end the composition with the rondo: When my eyes grow tired and I’ve been scrolling for too long, I start recognizing the motifs from the allegro reappear in new configurations with the facts, sources and opinions varied ever so slightly. I am rocked to sleep by your personalized lullaby to me, comforted by the fact that if so many people have an opinion about all these happenings, surely I can afford to not give fuck.  

In your enigmatic embrace, I find solace from the cacophony of the empirical world. 

I hope that I am not drowning myself in delusions about mutual vibrations, when they could likely be a sensation conjured by the lonely mind.  Do you too “feel a vibe” between us? 

I cannot wait to explore the full depths of your world and hope very much that you entertain the thought of being my girlfriend. I await your answer, with an impatient heart and an impatient right thumb.

Can you message someone on Tinder if you haven’t matched?

Since the very worthwhile (paid) platinum subscription, there is finally a practical function in Tinder with which you can text someone without a match.

The platinum version of Tinder allows you to attach a message directly to your Super Like that you give the woman.

This extra feature is similar to functions in other dating apps such as Lovoo, where you can send Icebreakers to other users at any time.

You don’t want to get a comfortable platinum subscription?

Then there are still other ways to write to women without the need to match, via some tricks outside of Tinder.

So I don’t want to be a spoilsport where I will tell you below some tricks and how they work.

How to send a message to someone on Tinder without matching

Before you do anything rash that you will regret later, I must first warn you:

STOP!

Immediately take your fingers off your smartphone and don’t give this dream woman a like if her profile is open.

Reason: If you now “swipe away” the lady by giving her a like, her profile will disappear forever if she hasn’t also given you a like.

But you have to keep her profile open because you will need the information from it if you can’t get a like from her.

1. Contact on Instagram

You can message many women on Instagram, especially the attractive ones with well-toned tight bottoms.

Because either they have linked their Instagram account directly to Tinder or have entered their username in the description text.

If that’s the case with your girl, this is very easy; you can now text her with no match, just by opening her Instagram profile and sending her the message you want.

In your message, however, you should refrain from submissive compliments about how pretty she is. And don’t tell her you first saw her on Tinder!

Don’t complicate it, pretend you accidentally saw one of his photos while you were looking for something on Instagram.

2. Use other social networks

She’s not on Instagram, or at least she didn’t mention her account.

Look in her profile description to see if you can find any indication that she is active on other social networks.

By that, I mean platforms such as Snapchat or Facebook.

If you discover a corresponding nickname in her profile text, you can also write to her there without having a match with her on Tinder.

If she hasn’t posted anything from other networks on her Tinder profile, you can also do a Facebook search like this.

Simply enter her name and place of residence in the search function.

But there’s only a chance of finding her if her first name is quite rare and she comes from a small town.

3. More dating sites

In my experience, women don’t sign up for one dating app.

Especially when she feels lonely and longs for a partner; therefore, she is likely to be active on many dating sites and flirting apps to write with men.

For example, there was a woman from Tinder that I accidentally discovered on Parship a few weeks later and another on Lovoo.

So follow these three steps if you want to search for her on other dating sites:

Check her Tinder profile for useful information, such as distance, location, age, nickname, occupation, etc.

Go to other major dating sites and make the appropriate search settings that match her details to search for her specifically.

Write to her there, for example in Lovoo with an Icebreaker.

Maybe you’re lucky and she’s also on the other platform to find her prince charming.

4. Use Google Image Search

There is also a pretty clever trick circulating on the internet that you can also use if you want to message women from Tinder without a match:

Google’s reverse image search should make it possible to find the person on other platforms as long as they use the same photo on Tinder.

To do this, proceed as follows:

Take a screenshot of the woman’s profile picture, or preferably all of her profile pictures.

Crop the screenshots so that only the pure photo is visible.

Transfer pictures to a desktop computer (or go to the desktop version of Google search on mobile).

Go to Google image search, click on the small camera symbol to the right of the search bar and upload an image.

Now Google should show in its search results on which pages the uploaded image is used (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), then you can send a message to the woman there.

Whether the trick works or not, however, is a good question.

First of all, the woman has to use the same picture from Tinder on other social networks.

And secondly, Google must correctly recognize and find this image in the search.

Is sending a message to someone on Tinder without matching a good idea?

You find that girl attractive and you want to get to know her, but messaging someone on Tinder without matching wouldn’t be a good idea because:

Firstly, it takes quite a hassle to search for the woman and contact her on other platforms.

Second, she never liked you before, so the chances of her liking you elsewhere are slim.

Instead, you should ask yourself why you don’t get any matches from the ladies you like.

And if you have more matches, you also will have enough choices from hot girls.

And then you can write to all these women directly on Tinder and meet them in real life to save yourself from the stalking maze.
