she’s awful and gross and terrible until she says something (that’s taken entirely out of context 100% of the time, the nickname has nothing to do w/ cullen himself and has everything to do w/ her poking fun @ the inquisitor) that could be POSSIBLY construed as friendly toward their nasty white male fav and then she’s their inquisitor’s bestie!! bc sera can only exist in relation to men & the inquisitor’s het relationships

but i still want more sera and i like painful and tragic stories too... i just like sera's background and her different perspective on elven culture and i would hate to see it simply being the result of something that wasn't up to her at all

Yeah, I agree with you 100%. 

I'd kind of like it if maybe she'd just be like, "Well, I've got this creepy thing inside me, but so what? I'm still me. I'm not gonna let it affect me." or something. I mean, I'm sure she'd freak out a lot, but if that was her final reaction, I think it'd be pretty great. 

Or maybe she could give it up? Like the whole Flemeth taking the old god soul from Kieran or whatever or Solas taking Mythal's spirit/Flemeth taking Fen'Harel's (really wanna believe it was Solas but Idk, man).

Unlike a lot of people in the fandom, I actually have faith in Bioware and their writers. They don't always get things right, but they try really hard and a lot of times they make magic imo.
