First day of my oil painting challenge/marathon. Red undercoat, followed by azure blue, ultramarine (plus white), veridian/ochre/yellow, then a mixed gray(pthalo blue and burnt umber plus white). All colors but the last three are from a used oil paint set that i bought from Tinkertopia.

Well out on Saturday’s Worldwide Photowalk I realized I actually had half a dozen old slides that I purchased at #Tinkertopia in my backpack. Since I didn’t see any eagles at the moment I just put my own eagle in the shot! Really it could’ve been an eagle from the Nisqually Delta since they do appear to have been local slides.
