Tony was getting too old for this shit. He had fallen from the sky, the only thing stopping him from breaking his back or dying was the fact that FRIDAY had managed to turn the suit back on with a moment to spare, even though Tony was still beyond unconscious. He hit the ground with a thud, his eyes still closed and his heart beat slow. Maybe it had been a bad idea to get the reactor removed after all. It took him a minute, but he had woken up, the bright sun beating down on his face, and there was Clint. Clint, who looked like he had just seen a ghost. Then there were lips against his and for a moment everything was alright.
“I might lose my sanity if someone doesn’t help me out of this suit in point five seconds.”
Clint too was getting too old for this shit. He hated seeing this, hated knowing that Tony was falling, but he couldn’t do anything. Quickly, his hand moved to his back to trigger one of the net arrows, but it was too late. The suit with Tony in it hit the ground and he was by his side in a second. His breathing stopped as he just looked at Tony, checking for any sign of life, before the other opened his eyes again, looking at him. Without a thought, Clint followed the instinct of kissing him, just to make sure Tony was really there, alive and well. When Tony spoke, Clint pulled back and nodded, trying to get the suit to open, but to no avail, not from his side anyways.
