I'd rather be recognized as a transman than mistaken for a cis woman, honestly. But still, there is a lot of privilege in being able to go under the radar. I just can't do that, apparently.

i’ve never actually thought about if i’d want to be read as nonbinary if that was possible, and i had somehow never thought about how a trans man’s perpective would differ (when i get to thinking about these things, my mind gets stuck on hate crimes and pontally being a target and it’s diffulcut to stop thinking about those things once you’ve started)

i guess i’m being somewhat selfish, because there’s people like you who’d rather be reconized as trans if it means being reconized as your gender, or as much as you can be reconized as your gender by people who know your trans, and i’d rather, what... pause the trans rights movement for everyone? i’m not sure. but its hard not to be selfish when the stakes are so high
