Serimuka @tintinfoodhall Surely one of the most sought after Kuih Malay, Seri Muka is a Sanskrit derived Melayu name meaning 'Resplendant Face' and a good Serimuka is judged on the smooth face of the top layer which is a pandan coconut custard ontop of Glutinous rice. The smoothness is only acheived by steaming for 1 hour over a low heat making this one of the more complex but mistakenly simple looking Kuih to perfect. Perfect with a cup of Indonesian coffee from @ngopiuk our fellow Indonesian neighbours who just reopened today and are just a short walk from Tin Tin Foodcourt.
