Day 3-Forgiven

Obi rarely had been accepted somewhere in his life, to be loved, to be cherished, such feelings were unfamiliar. He was just another killer running around to do the dirty jobs of the ones who had money in their pockets. Until they met. Until he walked in a place full of sunshine, the darkness around him slowly dissolving. 

The sight that greeted his eyes, shouldn’t had been something worth mentioning. Just two people waiting for him with tired expressions, so they could be together and have dinner. But those two, the girl with hair fiery as the dawn and a heart filled with strength and the young boy with those calm blues that slowly let them past his shell. They held a place in his heart like nobody else did. Master maybe could come close, but still it wasn’t the same.

“Welcome home, Obi.” she had told him and the warmth that run all over his body felt like a dream, but this was his reality. He was in a place, where his crimes were forgiven and he was seen for who he truly was, not for what he had been forced to do. 

“Your reins on me are truly strong...aren’t they?” Obi murmured to himself with a small laugh “I am home, Miss, Little Ryuu.”
