Your tiny clone au is so good I am absolutely sobbing! I'm so glad he survived!!! When he stabilizes will he be able to grow to the same size as Danny, or will he always be small? It would be funny if he remained small, cuz I just imagine he might befriend Skulker and get a mechasuit of his own XD
Thank you so much! I’m really happy you like Tiny and are happy he made it! As hilarious as the idea of him staying small and flying around in a mechasuit is, I’ve always had by heart set on him being the same size as Danny once stabilized. His default height, the one he reverts to when he sleeps and is most comfortable at, is exactly Danny’s height. Since I’m going to headcanon Danny’s 15 by then and a little below average height, he and the clone are both 5′6.
That being said, Tiny or (since someone on ff.net suggested Damian, shortened to Dami as a name and I love it) Dami retains his size shifting ability so can hangout at like 5 inches tall and luckily, it’s not painful and uncomfortable anymore. It was before, because he’d shrink automatically when he was very weak and would get stuck. But before he’s stable, he makes the best of it. He hides out in Danny and Jazz’s pockets or bookbags to sneak into school. He’ll sit on people’s shoulders to watch movies and curls up in Danny or Jazz’s hand to sleep. He finds all the little corners and hiding places in Fentonworks and explores them. Dami is just generally adorable and definitely learns how to use the ability to look small and cute to his advantage. But when he’ stronger and has better control, he becomes more comfortable with the ability and can be at his full height more often and longer.
After he’s stabilized, he can grow past his normal height . Dami, Danny, Sam, and Tucker discover this after they shoot Dami with the Fenton Crammer, curious if he can stretch himself to his normal height. Everyone just about has a heart attack when he shoots up to ten feet tall before Dami yells at them to stop freaking out so he can concentrate to shrink back down. From there, his size changing abilities are a little unstable for a bit. He’s finally strong enough to use his full size changing abilities, not just shrinking to keep himself stable. But he needs to practice. He misses his target and ends up smaller or taller than he intended....or suddenly changing size when he didn’t mean to. It’s very disconcernting to suddenly be swallowed by his bed covers. Or to suddenly hitting the ceiling because he’s too tall. But Dami’s abilities stabilize as he practices and he can grow a few inches to reach something on a shelf or sit on Danny’s shoulder again without the risk of suddenly knocking the other boy down because he’s too tall.
