This week’s theme is: OMG Sewing!
It’s time to get excited about sewing, guys! What was once grandma chic is now just chic chic. Let’s all go buy yarn and fabric and threads and thimbles and those cute little poofs that look like tomatoes for all our pins!
Elizabeth Pawle is a journalist turned fiber artist…and raiser of children. She does fantastic things with yarn and burlap and that is really saying something! The colors are wonderful, the mixture of textures is inspiring and the patterns, shut up! I love seeing her work pop up in my Instagram feed.

Maybe it’s because I have always dreamed of being a taxi driver, or maybe it’s because they are just insanely cool, but these city quilts, by Haptic Labs, have been pinned to my Wishlisted board forever. I can’t decide which city I want to be wrapped up in, maybe I need them all…or maybe a kite. A kite and a quilt. Ahhhh, they are so cool.
Britt “Hutch” Hutchinson claims to be bad at the internet. She also says she’s “an average human just trying to be happy, not rich.” There is nothing average about her Tinycup Needleworks art, hand embroidery for the high lonesome. The details, the skeletons, the tiny tiny knots, holy smokes. I wish I could watch over her shoulder to see how she creates these pieces, people love that right?
