Tiny Epic Zombies is a game for 1-5 players where you’re trapped in a mall attempting to complete a story goal before zombies overrun you.
For such a small box, there’s a lot in here. The cards randomly build the board, there are a bunch of different scenarios and characters to choose from, and you can play co-operatively or competitively where one person controls the zombies.
Gameplay is pretty straightforward. Each turn you move and shoot zombies or interact with items in the room. You can search for better gear and get the necessary stuff to accomplish your goals. But as your wounds increase and your ammo decreases, you run the risk of dying and turning into a zombie.
It’s portable, thematic, and fun enough to give you that zombie fix when you don’t feel like busting out the behemoth that is Zombicide (which I’ll cover soon.) Check it out!
