they never admit to the true source of the marks. it’s never one of them. it’s baran.

because while their coworkers know about yolanda and trinity, while they can see yolanda and trinity, no one knows about her. no one sees her.

this is just baran’s way of making her presence known.

I just had this thought about the devil‘s personal quarters filling up with decor once his partner starts living with him. Photographs of them both, gifts they’ve given each other, just little things that make the place feel more lived in. It’s a stark contrast to how barren the room used to look all the years prior

This won’t work with beasts, that is, people who’ve already succumbed to beasthood. 

On that note: only the royal bloodline of Cain.hurst can turn regular people into inhuman beings akin (albeit not equal) to themselves. Then, only the Queen may safely give them the gift of blood without risk of harm or death.
