#tiny heartbreak

My boyfriend seemed very interested to know about my day on Saturday. Why did it take longer than usual to walk your dog, baby? I started telling him about our adventures in detail only to have him stop me with “no, it’s ok, I believe you.” Then I realized he was asking because he was jealous I was meeting with someone else, and once he saw how genuine I was he didn’t need to hear more. His loss that he doesn’t get to know all about the new trail they added at the dog park, which street it exits at, the research I did about he organization behind it afterwards and the volunteering I plan to do. I need to stop confusing jealousy with caring, this has happened in past relationships as well. Today, a friend told me that I need to watch out for repeating past patterns in relationships, unrelated to this incident. Anyway, it’s going to be a really nice dog trail.

“ Take a break from Hyperion? ”

Angel had to pause for a moment to think about the weight of what he was asking, what it would mean for both of them. God knew she’d do anything to take him up on the offhanded proposal, but it wasn’t as easy as it sounded. Her situation was complicated, and she was putting all of her energy into avoiding becoming her imprisonment. 

“ Ed, you know I want to- but I can’t just leave helios, “ She reached up absentmindedly to touch the collar around her neck, shivering a little in the sterile environment. “ If you want to take that up with him be my guest, but right now these tubes in my ribs are all that are keeping me alive, literally. “

Rant ahead beware of potential childishness

Ok so this isn't gonna be all filtered because I'm a ball of feels atm and I don't wanna filter this because that means I won't be able to try and properly soothe the chaos.

I pretty much hate FB. I hate FB because it keeps bringing me together with people I'd rather not see anything about or read or god knows what, I hate FB because it keeps making me feel as if the life I lead is an inadequate mess. And because I'm an idiot who is too curious for her own good I had a look at something a 'friend' liked -even now I feel ridiculous typing those words but fuck it-and tadaaaaa there it was ; a video of the only person that I'd say really really makes my blood boil and growl out of hatred, doing a cover version of that ONE band I thoroughly love. I never like whole albums, really, but this band just..got to me. Every single song I love and the voices are perfection, and they aren't tooooo well known ( at least not in the mainstream scene ), it all felt really intimate. So to see that person doing a song of something that means so much to me feels like..I don't know. I feel like someone just...ripped my guts out and stuffed them back in. I know I don't own the band, I know everyone can like it and make cover versions of it and all that shit and it all reads like a toddler losing her favorite toy but damn it all I just had to vent. I'm in my twenties isn't shit like that supposed to be over. Talk about inadequate.
