It was one of those days; looking at herself in the mirror, she just saw the face of a mother she could barely remember. And there was very little she could do about it. Her memories wouldn’t come back quickly enough to relieve the pressure of sadness in her chest. She couldn’t change her face.
But she could change her hair. She’d heard about something here in Koi that they didn’t have back in Ylisse, and she wanted to try it for herself.
Hair dye.
Which was how she found herself standing in front of a rack of dyes at the store, overwhelmed by the number of choices. Every color from blonde to green to black, there for her to choose from, not to mention the different brands. She chose a brand at random and picked up purple and blue, looking between them indecisively. When another young girl entered the aisle, she knew she had her chance.
“Hey! Which color do you think would suit me better? I just can’t seem to decide.”
