Naruto snuck out of his room, making sure his mother didn't see him just yet. Quietly hurrying over to his plants in the backyard. Picking the flowers he had planted, he smiled and getting rid of any bees chasing him for the flowers, which earned him a bit of bee stings. Reaching where his mom was, he smiled widely as he held up the flowers with a grin. "Happy Mother's Day, kaa-chan!" Once the flowers were taken, he wrapped his mom in a hug. "I love you."
Had just woke up, the first thing the woman was capable to do was check her kid's room, but when looked inside the boy was already gone. When Minato was asked about the boy's whereabouts, everything he said was 'He left early today, almost one hour ago'.
For sure the man thanked Kushina for giving life to their son and even received presents from him, yet what was the point when her little Sunshine wasn't around? Taking a deep breath he sat on the chair, looking at the front door hoping the boy would somehow ran to her and say 'Happy Mother's Day'. Perhaps he forgot... It was not his fault.
But the redhead was wrong, he did not forget, more than not forget, he brought flowers with him, flowers she knew were from the backyard and that he was the one to plant them.
Rose up, taking a few steps in his direction and then kneeling down to face Naruto. Tears of happiness and a large smile could be seen on her face “Naruto...” received the flowers gently, holding her cry. But she was so happy, “I love you a lot more 'ttebane!” responded embracing him tightly “Thank you, my son...”
