New arrivals

Alone in the nest, Drift flailed around, whining in frustration.  He couldn’t get comfortable.  No matter how he laid or sat or stood, it wasn’t making the ache go away.

And it was getting worse.  He flopped onto his side, whimpering as he curled up.  It felt like something was going to burst out of him.

The pain spiked, Drift shrieking loud enough to be heard outside the cabinet his nest was tucked in.  He wanted his mate, pulsing that want through the bond with Deadlock.
