they’re so fucking cute and like ok omg I have this hc that karen is actually very emotionally smart (this honestly..idek if this is a hc its kinda canon) but she sometimes has trouble communicating it which cady discovers 

but also like concept cady helping tutor karen and just i love cady encouraging karen and telling her that she’s not stupid and i just want cute tutoring sessions

40. if you could see one show on broadway or west end, what would it be?

of those currently open, dear evan hansen! im #obsessed

41. what musical should be revived next?

i would love to see a more ~modern day~ production of runaways! i think it would be very interesting to have this show open in todays society, especially given the current political/social climate

42. are musical sequels okay?

im gonna lean more towards no? i think theyre okay if done correctly! but i think its very difficult to do. i think they cant be dependent on the first one? if that makes sense? they need to both work on their own without each other in order to work.

43. what musical sequel would you like there to be that isn’t?

a sequel to bare where jason comes back from the dead and everyone falls in love and is rly happy and gay

44. have you ever had a crush on a character from a show?

yeah tbh i fall in love with like any well written characters

45. how do you feel about musicals being done live on tv now?

i dont think they are able to capture the energy that exists within a stage show which lessens the quality. i think theyre also kinda poorly casted at times. however, i think they bring larger audiences to theatre and have been bringing theatre and broadway to the forefront of mainstream culture which is super cool!!

46. did you like grease live?

it had its ups and downs for me! i liked the production values a lot!! but the acting was a little rough at times

47. are you excited for hairspray live?

(since hairspray live has already happened,) yes i was!! hairspray was a big part of my childhood so i was excited to see what they were gonna do with it. i think they did a pretty good job but didnt quite capture the pure campiness of the show

48. what show do you desperately want your school/community to do?

spring awakening tbh!! 

49. are you a stronger singer or dancer?

dancer!! i danced for like 14 years and basically grew up in a dance studio

50. would you rather design the set, direct the show, or help with effects?

set design!! its an art form that i think a lot of people dismiss but it really has such an impact on the show
