pausing to remember a year ago this was an empty box. a beautiful box! but a box nonetheless. we were already tired and sometimes frustrated, there were setbacks and triumphs. But I don't think I ever imagined what a incredible blessing this adventure would be. I still sit in awe of Andrew, our friends and families support and our wonderful tiny life together. it is now our || h o m e || and I wouldn't change any of it for anything. to tiny living! m
plumbing, hot water heaters and stairs oh my! the loft supports are stained in the bathroom and the rest are painted. the countertop is approved and they are delivering it next tuesday. the stainless steel for the shower and backsplash is ordered and should take less than a week. looks like we are getting very very close folks! stay tuned for launch date! #tinyliving
Built an outdoor shower, it’s the best thing on this planet. My dad helping with the wiring. And a picture from the loft. I found the carpet remnant at the local carpet store, and it fits my loft perfect! Poor Brother Ray (my dog) he can’t come up yet.
We had extra windows added to ours ,as well as raising the roof height 1 foot. They came with a loft halfway across the room from the factory. This would act as my bedroom.
a happy, tired and proud fiancé admiring his work. the house wrap is on, the roof is on the roof but not glued and tarps are secured for ANOTHER storm. ☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️ so excited!!! we have the true makings of a tiny home!
The wettest June on record in the state of Maryland has certainly slowed our tiny project down but we are pushing through! The exterior needs a few more nails and a good once-over then the house wrap will go on and maybe the roof. We have hit a few bumps along the way… a sub-par nail/nail gun pairing, rain, wind, and a falling ladder causing a bump on A’s head but we are all still in one piece, including the tiny house! If you’re in town come check it out, otherwise I’ll keep you posted! happy tiny living, m
