jess PLEASE i need to know your star wars opinions

well i mean ive only seen the prequels (and absorbed some basic knowledge via internet pop culture osmosis) so my star wars opinions are very uninformed, BUT:

the political allegories are about as subtle as a brick but yknow sometimes i appreciate that

palpatine is so?? unintentionally hilarious? his raspy little voice makes me laugh i don’t know why. when he said “do it” i couldn’t stop laughing for a solid minute

Hello friend!

Going Gentle Into That Good Night is a, currently, placeholder title for a story I brainstormed about 4 months ago in which an AU of ANH sees both (previously trained as a Jedi) Luke and Leia turned to the dark side. It's also kind of a commentary/parody on some common fandom tropes and rhetoric and such to show how I could twist that into being pro-Empire/dark side, because of how Vader uses it to turn them, but if you're interested in that part I can talk about it in DMs bc it's a little spoilery :P

The title came from the famous poem, ofc, and while I'm not 100% happy with it I do really like that I can assign all 7 planned chapters a line from the poem as a title that matches, so it may stay!
