Reposting entirely is shitty, onto any and all sites (especially on the original site the artist posted on, because why would you repost it when you can just reblog/retweet/share it straight from the source???)

If an artist doesn’t post on a site you are on, then you can link the post and be like “hey yo check this out!” But don’t repost artwork ever unless you have explicit permission from the artist to do so (and even then, DO NOT do it without CREDITING THE ARTIST, BY NAME AND LINK)

Aizawa's capture weapon

So, I think Aizawa’s capture weapon being about 30’ seems about right. According to this site: http://personal.cityu.edu.hk/~meachan/Online%20Anthropometry/Chapter2/Ch2-18.htm The average bideltoid -forearm to forearm instead of shoulder blade to shoulder blade- shoulder breadth for a Japanese man is 44 cm, about 17 and 1/3 inches. The site also states (in introduction 1.6) that these are from military sources, so we can assume these men are decently well built. Fitting for Aizwawa, an athletic hero who stands at 183 cm (6’ tall)! Since the width on one side of his shoulders is 17.3 inches and his capture weapon is wrapped around that width twice, as well as his actual arms, lets say a single wrap is a clean 36 inches, 3 feet. In the (hopefully attached properly) image from the manga, there seem to be about ten wraps of this weapon around Aizawa’s shoulders, so an estimate of 30 feet seems about right. (Though he could have more wrapped underneath the outer layers, given that we can see how thin the wraps are in this shot.)

Honestly, it’s so difficult to tell for certain! Because, judging solely by the number of visible loops on his person and estimating each loop to be around 3 feet, it definitely looks like it would be about 30 feet.

But then you get shots like these:

And it looks like the scarf has doubled in length D: Not to mention it’s been shown that Aizawa can cut lengths off of his scarf to bind enemies, and still have a generous amount left to use

Which leads me to believe 30 feet would run out pretty quickly, so it’s safer to go with a higher number. 100-200 feet would give Aizawa plenty to work with, but that’d be heavy as fUCK to carry around on his shoulders, especially something that’s metal-infused. Not to mention all the countless loops he has to keep track of when he’s fighting so he doesn’t accidentally trip himself and fall flat on his face (cause you know that definitely fucking happened while he was learning)

So I’m willing to meet in the middle and say about 60-70 feet. 30 seems quite limiting, now that I think about it, and I believe it’s a safe bet to say Aizawa has hidden layers of his scarf within itself to give himself that much more reach.

But I am definitely no scientist, and fictional weapons are not my forte lol. Who knows: maybe his scarf does magically grow and shrink to the size Aizawa needs it to be  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

All fair points.

It’s not that the other fic is boring me, per se, it’s just that I have a much bigger drive to write one over the other. Which is troublesome since 1. i’m farther along on the other fic and 2. the fic i wanna write doesn’t really line up with my readers’ interests (i say like i know you all personally lol)? But I guess that’s not really the point when you’re writing as a hobby  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have this problem'?' as well but if this goes on for to long when I do cry i cry hard and long, I also hear that crying every so often is supposed to be good for you so what I do is watch a emotional movie to help with the waterworks :"'"3

Funnily enough, that’s the exact same thing I do! I just finished watching Up, which is my go-to emotional movie whenever I’m trying to make myself cry, and I did for the first scene (you know The One), buuuuuut...... that was it.. which is. a first for me, cuz that movie always has me bawling like a fuckin baby for no less than 3 separate instances

I relate! Since January there haven’t been more than a few tears for me. I’m pretty sure it’s emotional numbness and if there’s something goin on in your life that’s too much to process your brain might be shutting down for a bit. If something’s going on, try writing down what’s happening and how it makes you feel or try talking through it with someone you trust if you want to process 

Well, I’m glad to hear at least this isn’t just a Me problem. For me, it’s been happening on and off for like the last 1 1/2 - 2 years. I don’t really think there’s that much going on in my life other than the stuff that’s been bothering me throughout life before, and i never had any of this numbness then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Of course, it would probably help loads if i actually. ya know. talked about my problems lol

jessicarocket : Depression and anxiety suck. So does burnout. But regardless of what you draw or write, I'm here for it and I'll love it. Your art style and so charming and gorgeous and your writing is top-notch. I adore everything you produce, regardless of the fandom!

Don't worry about it, just enjoy the stuff you like, there is no guilt about it. If people are upset with it, they are just not worth sticking around I guess. What I am trying to say is, don't worry, it's always nervous to get into something new, but even if you lose some followers, you will gain also with the new fandoms you are getting into and you will meet new friends and it opens up opportunities to probably meet friends that will change your life for the best

I think what bothers me most about this fandom shift in comparison to others is that my time in the Team Rocket fandom has been the time that I’ve been the most sociable in a fandom, like, ever? Like I am actually The Worst at making friends, but I’ve managed to meet and make friends with some reeeeaaaaalllyyy cool people in this community. And, I dunno. Part of me feels like moving on to other things means I gotta part ways with them or something, when in reality, it doesn’t mean that at all??? My brain’s just dumb and doesn’t realize that lol
