Where they started vs. where they ended up
Thought it would be fun to show some behind the scenes pics of these two. I'm not really happy with how the faces turned out, but they're super tiny (like 3 mm tiny). I get why they look so melty and weird in the movies, lol. Plus, Octavius' head fell off quite a few times during the painting process...
I made Jed's hair out of Apoxie Sculpt, which was incredibly frustrating to work with on such a small scale. I also made gun holsters, but never got around to finishing them (and we all know the guns don't work, anyway). And I thought about making the rest of Octy's armor, but I was afraid of ruining his little limbs 😬
